Welcome!
The congregation and clergy of St. Michael's
in Easley, SC welcome you to our website. Whether you
are looking for a church home or just visiting in the area,
we invite you, your family, and your friends to worship with us.

acolytes, greeters, nursery volunteers and children's church leaders is now

Sunday readings for lay readers and eucharistic ministers are now being
distributed via e-mail by Gayle DeWitt. Please contact Gayle or the
office if you wish to receive the readings via e-mail and you have not been
getting them.

St. Michael's is a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion and the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina. Anglicanism was the original faith of South Carolina and we are confident it still represents classic Christianity in our time. Please read the Rector's Message about our mission to our world.
Both our services are the modern language Rite II. We highly value the worship of God, the reading and preaching of God's Word, and Holy Communion. Holy Communion is communion with Christ and with his Church. All baptised persons, no matter what tradition, are invited to receive Communion. Even if you are not baptised, but want to receive Jesus Christ, no minister of our church would turn you away. Children are welcome to receive, with the guidance of their parents.
We hope that you will join us this Sunday as we continue our spiritual journey together with the Holy Eucharist and fellowship.
Services Every Sunday:
Rector's Forum
& Sunday School
Rector's Forum for adults and Sunday School for children
from preschool (age 4 and above) through twelfth grade
meet from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM during the school year.
Children's Church
An age-appropriate church service for children
ages 4 and up meets during the 10:30 AM service.
Children can leave before
the sermon to go to Children's Church. They rejoin their parents
in time to receive Holy Communion together.
Nursery Care
Nursery care for infants and children
through three years of age is available during the 10:30 AM
service.
Coffee Hour
Coffee and light refreshments are available
between services and after the 10:30 AM service. This is a popular
time for the congregation to socialize and meet newcomers.
Youth Group
The youth group, for children ages 10 and up,
meets every other Sunday in the St. Matthias Lutheran annex. Our group
and St. Matthias youth group have joined forces! A
supper is provided.
Accessibility
All parts of our new church building are easily accessible
by persons with physical handicaps.

at the corner of Powdersville Road and Rock Springs Road.
