The congregation and clergy of St. Michael's in Easley, SC welcomes you to our website. Whether you are looking for a church home or just visiting in the area, we invite you, your family, and your friends to worship with us.
St. Michael's is a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion and the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina. Anglicanism was the original faith of South Carolina and we are confident it still represents classic Christianity in our time. Please read the Rectors Message about our mission to our world. Both our services are the modern language Rite II. We highly value the worship of God, the reading and preaching of God's Word, and Holy Communion. Holy Communion is communion with Christ and with his Church. All baptized persons, no matter what tradition, are invited to receive Communion. Children are welcome to receive, with the guidance of their parents.
We hope that you will join us this Sunday as we continue our spiritual journey together with the Holy Eucharist and fellowship.
Sunday Services
- 8:30 AM - Holy Eucharist, Rite II, no music
- 10:30 AM - Holy Eucharist, Rite II, with organ and choir
Rector's Forum and Sunday School
Rector's Forum for adults and Sunday School for children from preschool
(age 4 and above) through twelfth grade meet from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM
during the school year. Nursery care is available during Rector's Forum and
Sunday School.
Children's Church
An age-appropriate church service for children ages 4 and up meets during
the 10:30 AM service. Children can leave before the sermon to go to
Children's Church. They rejoin their parents in time to receive Holy
Communion together.
Nursery Care
Nursery care for infants and children through three years of age is available during the 10:30 AM service.
Coffee Hour
Coffee and light refreshments are available between services and after the 10:30 AM service. This is a popular time for the congregation to socialize and meet newcomers.
Accessibility
All parts of our new church building are easily accessible by persons with physical handicaps.
